Michelin-starred Indian cooking inside the Sheraton

The raan outsells everything else on Jamavar's menu, and one bite explains why. This is the brand's second outpost after Mayfair, set inside the Sheraton Grand on the Corniche under chef Surender Mohan, working a pan-Indian menu of tandoor and slow-braised curries.

It holds a Michelin star, awarded at Doha's inaugural ceremony and kept since. The room is formal without stiffness, and the lunch set is the easiest way in before committing to a full dinner tasting.
