YUN sits on the Waldorf Astoria's 44th floor, high enough to clear most of West Bay's towers, with a dining room built around 1930s styling that makes the view feel like a period drama backdrop. It picked up Qatar Tourism's Best New Restaurant 2024 and holds a Michelin Selected listing.

Weekends bring a dim sum brunch on Friday and Saturday, looser and more social. Dinner switches to a fuller Cantonese à la carte menu, same skyline underneath it.

I had a wonderful experience at Yun Restaurant. From the moment we arrived, Sabrine at the reception welcomed us with a warm smile and genuine kindness. She escorted us to the restaurant and made us feel truly welcome and happy. The service throughout our visit was outstanding. The entire team was professional, attentive, and friendly, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. Thank you to Sabrine and the whole Yun team for the excellent hospitality. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to coming back!

This restaurant is outstanding. Such wonderful decor. You are greeted with a warm heart as you enter ready to dine. The views are amazing. As so is the food. They accept cash and card. I'm not sure if they accept payment by cheque so its best you ask before hand. The food was magnificent and presented really beautifully. All in all I would recommend coming here. You will be treated so well and it makes the meal even more memorable.

I went on a weekday and it was relatively okay. The amount of people was good. The atmosphere is great. I love Cantonese food and I think they did a really good job. We celebrated a birthday as well and they helped us. They’re very cooperative. Good staff good food good view.

Yun is a very well-known restaurant, and honestly, it exceeded all expectations by far. The food was incredibly delicious, and the hospitality was outstanding. We tried their Saturday brunch, and it was amazing, every single dish was perfectly prepared and full of flavor. Special thanks to Naw for the great service Highly recommended!
