Every terrace in Bucharest bakes in the summer, except this one. BASE sits behind an actual leafy terrace on Ion Mihalache, cool enough to linger through the heat.
Inside is airy and unhurried, the coffee is specialty grade, and the whole place feels more like a holiday spot than a stop on a traffic-heavy boulevard. It's become a solid anchor for the Domenii side of town, exactly what that stretch needed.

Awesome new coffee place, with nice outdoor garden, suitable for families with children. Indoor is also nice, great as a workspace. Very tasty coffee, icecream, pastry, and also cocktails :D
