Oradea's award-winning bakery lands on Calea Victoriei

The sourdough alone justifies the trip. Piața9 built its name in Oradea with a food hall concept inspired by Barcelona's Boqueria and London's Borough Market, and it just took over a former Starbucks on Victoria Center.

For now the Bucharest spot runs as Bakery P9, just sourdough, pastry and specialty coffee. The full food-hall format may follow later. Last year the concept won Romania's Horeca Award for best bakery and pastry.

Very nice bakery located on Calea Victoriei with a nice terrace. Great variety of pastries 🥐 and some sandwiches 🥪 Coffee is also great quality. I tried blueberry and vanilla croissant with a double espresso. Great combination and quality ingredients. The staff is also very nice and polite, atmosphere top. In the weekend it can get a bit overcrowded. Definitely a place to comeback.

Absolutely lovely cafe. Their pastries are amazing and fresh, some of them not overtly sweet, which i loved. Their strawberry matcha is a must if you love matcha, on the sweeter side! The cafe also has frozen meals to take to go and the lavender lemonade is a must try! And lastly, the staff is always lovely!

Very happy we stopped here! You can tell everything is freshly made and prepared with real care, from the pastries to the matcha drinks. The blueberry pastry and croissant looked and tasted excellent, and the whole display made it clear that quality matters here. We had a small accident during our visit, but the staff reacted very quickly and made sure we still had a great experience. Honestly, the staff were 10/10. A must-stop in the area. Fresh products, great service, and a place I would happily return to.
