Pride in the name, Guido's beans in the grinder
Orgolio means pride in Romanian, and the espresso mostly backs up the claim. It sits on Carol Davila among Cotroceni's faculties and clinics, roasting under Guido, with desserts and a short drinks list for when coffee stops being the point.
Students and doctors drink here daily, not ceremonially, which keeps standards honest. It's part of the wave that made Cotroceni the city's densest café neighborhood by the square meter.

It’s such a relaxed place with the best coffee in the city. Especially on hot summer days, their outside area is a cooling refuge. Also their croissants taste very good.

Top top top spot!! I was just looking for something a quick stop before going to the botanical garden and came across this gem. The place is really cute with an outdoor patio and some indoor tables too. The food was delicious and coffee even better. Prices are good too! The place is run by the owners who are the nicest people, very friendly and nice. I definitely recommend it and would love to come back :) Wishing this couple all the best!!

A small, cosy coffee shop with a calm and intentional atmosphere. The coffee was excellent, clearly made with care, and I really appreciated the variety of alternative milk options available. It felt like the kind of place designed for people who genuinely enjoy good coffee and a relaxed space to slow down for a while. Il visit again for sure.
