Dune Cotroceni: inviting interior and atmosphere

Dune Cotroceni

★ 4.7 · 325 reviews Bucharest Opened 2025

Guido coffee and a genuinely kid-proof brunch in Cotroceni

The pitch here isn't tolerating kids, it's planning around them. Dune runs on coffee roasted by Guido, backed by desserts and a short alcohol list, on a leafy stretch of Sergent Nuțu Ion at Cotroceni's southern edge.

Cotroceni became Bucharest's densest specialty coffee patch in 2025, with half a dozen new openings in a single year. Dune is the one where a family morning doesn't turn into a negotiation. Weekends fill up fast from late morning.

I would have apreciated this more if the frozen pizza was marketed as such from the beginning. If it has to be frozen pizza at a kids' playground, at least make it a good quality one, as I am sure there are many options out there. Pizzamania sells them everywhere...

Good coffee, great service, amazing atmosphere. Our kid loved the sand area and all of the toys. Small playground right outside. Definitely recommend

A very interesting place, saw it a lot but didn’t had time to visit, we came here and was a hit, our baby sat alone playing while we enjoyed our coffee like we were alone. I recomand it

If you have kids and want to entertain them and also enjoy your coffee, this is the perfect place! Lots of toys and sand which keeps them busy, no panicking with food, they have tons of options! Today we had ham pizza and we tryed the strawberry compote which was absolutely delicious ( also w low sugar)✌️
