Basque cheesecake only, ten flavours, next to the Athenaeum
One product, done properly. This spot arrived from Budapest in 2026 and set up on Benjamin Franklin street beside the Athenaeum, selling Basque cheesecake and nothing else: burnt on top, nearly liquid in the middle, on a base whose recipe stays secret.
Ten flavours rotate through the counter. Pricing is friendly for Calea Victoriei's orbit, 26 lei a slice or 240 lei for a whole cake. Worth folding into any walk between the Athenaeum and Revolution Square.

A little crowded. We liked the classic basque cheesecake. The other two (lotus & strawberry swirl and red velvet with white chocolate) weren't that good. And too sweet.

Very good experience, the cheecakes are great. We tried the pistachio, kinder bueno, lemon and nutella ones and we were very pleased. Yes, they are very sweet and I would recommend getting one per person because it fills you right away.

It was a lovely experience. I had the biscoff and raspberry cheesecake, honestly one of the best cheesecakes I’ve ever had. The staff were also lovely and spoke English and Romanian to me and my partner. We sat inside and got to see the staff making the cheesecakes in real time, a cool thing to watch while you eat. I will 100% be bringing people here when I’m next in Bucharest.

The best cheesecake that i ate so far in Bucharest. Brings back memories from the Cheesecake factories that i ate in USA🇺🇸 What i like the most is that they are tasty and not that sweet, they have a nice texture and taste, also the price it s very ok, 5 euro to eat a great cheesecake it s a deal! It s a small place, dont expect to have the best service, atmosphere, but it will worth it
