Lebanese mezze in Umm Al Hamam
A French name on a Lebanese restaurant is its own small joke, echoing Beirut's decades of French and Lebanese life sitting side by side. Mlle leans into that with a mezze-led, herb-heavy menu built for a full table, not a solo plate.
Umm Al Hamam has quietly become a walkable strip of good restaurants, and Mlle holds its own next to the Italian and Japanese spots nearby. Order in numbers and share.

This was not my first visit to the restaurant, and I still stand by my previous opinion that it is a distinguished Lebanese restaurant with excellent dishes, presented in a professional and creative way. However, unfortunately, my most recent experience was extremely disappointing in terms of reception and guest handling. After traveling from Jeddah to Riyadh with my family, we decided to dine at the restaurant. Among my guests were an elderly person and a person with special needs. I arrived approximately 20 minutes before our reservation time, but the receptionist refused to let us in and asked us to walk around the area until the reservation time. When I explained that waiting for a long period was not suitable due to the presence of an elderly guest and a person with special needs, no appropriate solution was offered — not even a waiting chair. Instead, I was asked to wait outside the restaurant, with the explanation that our presence was causing congestion at the entrance. When I objected to this, the receptionist responded in an inappropriate manner and said that he would cancel the reservation if we did not want to wait. I was truly surprised by this attitude, especially since the receptionist is the first point of contact and the face of the restaurant. This role should reflect hospitality, professionalism, and respect for guests. Unfortunately, the way the situation was handled negatively affected the overall experience and even impacted the atmosphere around the rest of the staff who were providing service. It was a very unfortunate experience and has made me seriously reconsider visiting the restaurant again in the future. Good food alone is not enough if it is not accompanied by respect, proper hospitality, and professional guest handling — especially when elderly guests and people with special needs are involved. Thank you, for an experience that unfortunately highlighted a clear weakness in professionalism when dealing with guests and visitors.

A very good quality of Lebanese Cuisine. Excellent ingredients and well execution when it comes to cooking and serving. The smoked fattouch is worth the try. Shish tawook is hands down one of the best in town. Takes up to 20 minutes preparing but the chicken is so good and brilliant quality. Family friendly restaurant but not recommended for kids. Great experience and overall satisfaction.

Amazing experience! I visited for breakfast and the entire morning shift was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and professional. Special shoutout to Shahed the barista, truly an artist when it comes to latte! Highly recommended 👌✨

Very nice and amazing serving as well as food quality. The ambient is too relaxed with dimmed lights, the place is joy-able. Recommended and grab good company to enjoy the food.

It is a nice lebanese restaurant in laysen valley. They have indoor and outdoor seating areas. We sat inside and ordered tabboule, fries, spicy potato, hummus and mashawi. In general the food was good and the service is fast. Prices are ok compared to similar places. Would love to come back again. Would definitely go there again.
