Wine, pasta and steak in a Jeongha-dong sarangbang

Obladi sits in Jeongha-dong, a residential corner of Andong nobody would guess holds a wine bar. That's part of the appeal for a date: nobody stumbles in by accident. The kitchen turns out pasta and steak alongside a wine list built for pairing, plus a raclette set that's become a reason to visit on its own.

One room is set up like a sarangbang, the traditional men's reception quarters of a hanok, low seating included. It gets booked out for private groups on weekends, while the main dining room takes walk-ins most nights.

Good to know

• The dinner light course runs about 100,000 won for two; book ahead for the private room.
• Closed Sundays, open from 6pm on weeknights.
