Solo drinking done right, fourth floor in Gyodong

Skip the group tables. Gotomi is built for drinking alone, up on the fourth floor of a Munhwa-dong building where the chef runs both the food and the dessert-leaning cocktails without splitting kitchen from bar.

It only opens Friday through Sunday, 9pm to 2am, so it feels like a trip you plan rather than a place you just wander into.
