Mild Haus shares an owner with Roots next door but keeps its own hours, opening at 1pm as a bright cafe before sliding into cocktails, wine, whiskey and beer after dark. Most bars on this stretch of Gyodong don't open before evening, so the daytime coffee crowd here stands out.

The food menu is small but real, not just bar snacks, and the room reads more like a hotel lounge than a typical Gyodong pub. It's one of the more photographed rooms around without much paid promotion behind it.
