Sonoro opened just before Christmas 2025 on Vaksalagatan, built as Uppsala's new social living room. Shuffleboard, billiards and darts sit next to a cocktail-forward drinks list and small dishes.

The bartenders lean into tropical fruits and odd pairings, so it plays more like a games bar than a proper cocktail lounge.

Good AW place. Chill and playful vibe. Many seatings available. The food was just ok, but fun and affordable games (shuffle board, dart and pool) available. I liked their system of being able to play all the games and freely switch the games for 89 SEK/pp/hour.

Lovely place, nice atmosphere. The games are in good shape. We played shuffleboard Nicely separated from dining area, so we could be loud without worrying to disturb others. Personnel was super nice, service was fast. We had small dishes that we shared. So, we got to taste most of the appetizers. We found the food underwhelming, too salty or too flat. (We did not try the main courses. Maybe they were great) The overall experience was great. Go there and have fun with your friends!
