Lat-Asian food and cocktails on a rooftop facing Uppsala's cathedral

Bacán opened on November 15, 2024, on the seventh and eighth floors above the new Filmstaden on Dragarbrunnsgatan. The whole eighth floor is a rooftop terrace looking straight at the cathedral and the rooftops beyond.

The kitchen calls its style "Lat-Asian": ceviche with wasabi, tacos with kimchi, gyoza with chipotle mayo. The bar leans the same way, working tropical fruit and spice into drinks like a pisco sour with yuzu.
