A beach bar and kitchen brought back to life by local families at Löderups strandbad

Solglimt opened June 20, 2026, on the site of the bankrupt Strandkompaniet at Löderups strandbad, after a group of local summer residents formed Solglimten i Löderup AB and bought the beachfront building. The kitchen keeps it simple: salads, fish, burgers and lighter fare, alongside draft beer, wine and cocktails, served from 13:00 to 22:00 through mid-August.

The owners call it the beach's shared living room. Live music, weekly quiz nights and sports screenings fill a summer season that had gone dark after the previous operator collapsed.
