Open-air lounge off Uhuru Avenue, renovated and reopened.
Backyard Lounge is tucked just off Uhuru Avenue near Hasty Tasty, a lounge bar built around the idea that regulars should feel less like customers and more like they've been let into someone's actual backyard. The name isn't just branding. The space leans into an open-air, relaxed layout rather than the tighter indoor bars more common in the town centre.
It's been through at least one round of renovations since opening, closing for a stretch to redo the space before reopening to the same crowd. For a town where most nightlife options are either hotel bars or straight-up clubs, this fills the gap in between, somewhere to sit outside with a drink without the volume turned all the way up.

The best Pub in Iringa hands down , very discreet location in an alley behind Hasty Tasty restaurant, place has WIFI , food , music , I been in Iringa on and off since July 2021 , I just stumbled upon this place march 2023 , Google map is a little off , classy pub with affordable prices. People come to work with their laptops, it's not a nightclub, they close at midnight, Food though is to die for . Only place in Iringa you get half a kilo of grilled goat meat for 5,000 .
