Indian and international dishes beside Iringa's colonial-era clock tower.

Clocktower Cafe sits exactly where its name says it does, on Uhuru Road right beside Iringa's old German clock tower, one of the few structures left from when the town was built as a colonial defensive base in the 1890s. The menu reaches further than the location's history: Indian and international dishes alongside pizza, with enough vegan options that it shows up on HappyCow, which isn't the norm around here.

It runs a proper delivery service across Iringa town on top of the sit-down side, and stays busy well past the usual lunch and dinner windows because of it. Ask for a table near the window and you can watch the clock tower while you eat.

  It was packed for dinner with a queue of people for takeaway. A waitress found me a seat, served me quickly and took great care of me. The food I ordered was delicious but I wish I knew what other people had ordered as their food looked even better. Very reasonably priced. The juices and smoothies were great too. I'm glad I found this place for dinner. Highly recommended.
