Rooftop bar on the 34th floor, under a wooden leaf

A wooden leaf-shaped canopy hangs over the 34th floor of the InterContinental on Sukhumvit, and the design has picked up awards on its own merits. The cocktail list skips the usual categories and sorts drinks by how wild you want to get, which beats most rooftop menus in town.

Sunset slots book out fast. Go later instead: the hours after are cooler, easier to snag a table, and just as good for the view.

I didn’t feel like there is anything special about this bar. Bangkok offers much better bars than this one around the city. The price is standard as any other hotel bars that charge you higher than normal. They don’t have wine by glass so you have to open a bottle if you want wine. Not enough staff to attend all the customers efficiently so I didn’t feel like any of them were friendly or welcome there. I don’t know if they offer any IHG benefits at this hotel bar but no staff there mentioned it for me. The nicest people there was probably the valet downstairs. Basically, this place is just another tourist trap for me. I won’t go back.

We were lucky enough to find this Rooftop by chance and we went for Sunset time, the staff was very kind and even without a reservation we were able to seat on a table looking at this incredibly nice view of Bangkok skyline, drink were tasty and of course you pay for the view. Long pants and close shoes are a must for man, so do not show in flip flops or sandals. And enjoy the majestic view. Highly reccomended

A high-quality cocktail bar that I’d happily recommend. The drinks are well balanced and consistently delicious. I particularly recommend the classic cocktails, they are executed very well. The signature cocktails are also distinctive and showcase the bar’s creativity. The bar itself is open-air on the 34th floor of the InterContinental. It can be a little warm, but there’s a constant breeze throughout the evening that keeps the atmosphere quite pleasant. I highly recommend King, one of the staff members. His cocktails are excellent, his service is outstanding, and he is very friendly and engaging. He makes the whole experience even more enjoyable.

I came here on my birthday, and the service was amazing. Chef’s Non was so lovely and very friendly. Highly recommended! The atmosphere was great, and the place was beautifully decorated.

I loved and enjoyed my time at this beautiful rooftop bar so much . Nice music and น้องดล was a cherry on top!! Nice personality , friendly , good bartender! Thanks for making our visit so fun.
