The name says it all: sato is Isaan's fermented sticky-rice wine, san is the Japanese honorific, and the whole floor works that seam between Northeastern Thai flavours and Japanese restraint. CentralWorld sits right across the skyline.

The space splits between an indoor lounge and a long open-air terrace, running daily from 6pm to 2am. Bangkok has plenty of rooftops, but this one earns the lift because the food is a real menu, not an afterthought to the view.

We had a great time it was an amazing view with great customer service especially when the rain started the staff rushed to help seat us inside, very friendly and helpful staff thank you Nat for your warm welcome and great service.

Sato San Rooftop Bar is a solid pick if you’re after those classic Bangkok skyline views without the usual high-end pretension. Perched on the 32nd floor of Moxy Bangkok Ratchaprasong (right by CentralWorld), the open terrace delivers exactly what it promises: expansive, unobstructed views of the entire city skyline. Golden hour into night is particularly strong. You can watch the sun drop and the lights come up across the city. It’s one of those spots where the setting does a lot of the heavy lifting. The menu is small and focused (small plates rather than a full dinner spread), which keeps things simple. The drinks side is where it shines. Service is very friendly and the overall vibe is relaxed and social rather than stiff. It’s not trying to be the most elaborate rooftop experience in Bangkok, but for great views and solid drinks in a convenient central location, it delivers. Worth a stop, especially around sunset.

A place with a fantastic atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff, they served us a free welcome drink, and the cocktails were delicious and reasonably priced. Definitely worth repeating. Stunning views.
