Thailand's first agave bar, mezcal-led, in Chinatown
Mezcal and tequila poured neat as often as mixed. That's the whole premise at La Copita, Thailand's first bar built entirely around agave spirits, tucked into Soi Nana's cocktail strip in Chinatown.
Soi Nana already had the city's densest run of cocktail rooms, so a single-spirit bar here made sense. Never had much mezcal? Ask for a flight.

Best place in Bkk for cocktails made with mezcal and tequila! Love the standing bar concept! Some of my favorites from the menu are KJ’s Plum Star and of course the BEST Paloma in Bkk! Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in Chinatown.

Awesome little cocktail bar with a really cozy atmosphere. The bartender was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. The cocktails were well-crafted and delicious, and the mezcal selection was outstanding—definitely a must-visit for mezcal lovers. Great vibes, great drinks, and excellent service. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a quality cocktail spot in Bangkok! 🍸🔥

The space is very small, so it feels very intimate. The bartender is very friendly, all drinks are awesome. We were trying 5 types of drink, and all are very interesting This bar is affiliated with the opium bar , specializing in tequila. After this bar you should try other bar on their list, it’s walking distance and also very nice.

A small, tequila and mezcal-focused bar, which is still relatively rare in Bangkok. The space is compact with a strong Mexico-inspired vibe. There’s very limited seating. Most people either stand at the bar or have a quick drink outside, which gives it a casual, almost street-side feel. It actually reminded me a bit of Cantina OK! in Sydney. The cocktail menu is short but well curated, leaning towards classics that work well with tequila and mezcal. I had a Paloma, which was nicely balanced and easy to drink. It’s located in Chinatown, so it works well as a stop if you’re already in the area for food. I probably wouldn’t come all the way just for this bar alone, as part of its charm is that spontaneous, drop-in feeling. Overall, a fun and characterful spot. The bartender was cool, and I even picked up a hangover remedy they had, which I’m curious to try next time.
