A hundred-plus sakes kept in temperature-controlled storage, in a city where that's rare. Marie sits in Nihonmachi, the Japanese complex off Sukhumvit 26, and it made Friday Bangkok's list of the best new bars of the year.

Tell staff what you usually drink and they'll pour you a tasting pair. It runs quieter than the izakayas around it, which is the point.

Have a glass (or ten🥴) at this small and cozy sake bar with an impressive selection of premium imported sake labels paired with innovative fusion fare. Try their carefully crafted omakase courses or order a la carte and get the appropriate sake pairing recommendations from the very friendly and knowledgeable Marie-san herself🍶

One of the most creative sake pairing experience. We ordered food and drink set menu and it was the best choice to understand and experience the Marie’s strategic pairing method. I recommend to have a look at her book that they have at the restaurant. The owner runs events a couple onde days a month so it’d be cool to visit it when I come to BKK next time.
