Skip the marina prices. Kornél sits on Adliye Caddesi, the street where most of Bitez actually eats, and it runs like a proper bistro should: a short menu done well, nothing padded out to look impressive.

Bodrum's restaurant watchers clocked it fast this season. Go for a kitchen that picked a lane and stuck to it.

Our favourite meal in Bodrum by far ❤️ Absolutely delicious food, friendly service & a beautiful setting. We had a mezze selection (our best in Turkey) and fresh fish (pick your own from the bar!) - the stand out dish was the jumbo prawns with Orzo. And such good value - Starters, mains and 2 cocktails, all for under £100. Don’t be put off by the slightly quiet location; it’s worth travelling to. Bonus for us was hearing the stories of how the staff look after the locals cats 🐈‍⬛ Heads up - The restaurant has recently changed names to ‘Karavida’.

We unexpectedly ended up at Kornél tonight. It was, by far, the best food we’ve had in a while! Their chef is a master at marrying flavors like a tomato salad with olives and pickled strawberries! Sounds strange but the end result was delicious. As was the fluffy pizza dough, basically every dish we ordered was a hit! Thanks Kornél for accommodating us, we loved the food, ambience and the DJ!

Amaaaaaaaazing place! Every dish was super special and tasty even for a few minutes fells like Italian food! Highly recommend! I don’t know why the rating here is 4.1?!

5/5 Great dining experience. The venue turns in to DJ party after a certain hour. Though it's fun and all, I believe when a full on white cloth fine dining experience turns in to dancing there should either be a dedicated dancing area to accomodate everyone or the tables should be collected swiftly.
