A Moda café classic, reborn with Far East touches
Das Böcek took over one of the oldest addresses on Bademaltı Sokak and gave it a completely different feel. Far Eastern touches fill the room, from a long communal work table to cushioned corners built for lingering.
The menu stays short: coffee, matcha, cold drinks and sweet snacks. The cookies are what people keep coming back for. On certain nights the café flips into a DJ spot, with sets and live performances running late.

Cool place but staff member not hospitable. I took a photo with my phone as I entered and was told off for doing so. The sign says no 'professional' photography. My photo was for personal use, not professional. They should update the sign if this is their policy. I later apologised but was ignored. If you don't practice empathy and compassion it will make you a dark and negative person.

The atmosphere is excellent, and coffee is good, but if you’re going there for focused studying I wouldn’t recommend it, the table is very uncomfortable sit at, with very little leg room(especially for people of the taller side). The light is also dim so it’s another reason not to study there, but great atmosphere to hangout

Amazing place to grab a coffee, great music, very stylish interior and great hosts. They have specialty coffee with very good beans and baristas :)

Amazing place, the owner is just spectacular person with perfect music taste and master in coffee. The best Guatemala coffee I have drunk in my life. Highly recommend!

Even though it's a cafe I enjoy visiting, the staff doesn't communicate with the customers, we ordered a vanilla latte and a regular latte, they didn't tell us which one was which until we asked. A vanilla latte is 210 TL and a regular one is 185 TL. For this price one expects at least a simple latte art. The atmosphere and seats are quite nice, although there aren't many power outlets to charge our phone with. It feels like we're paying for the ambiance of the whole environment rather than the coffee. Still a chill place to sit and chat or study. There are couches to sit on and the lighting is comforting. It's easily more preferable than other cafes out there. I wish they had dessert options though.
