A grandmother's apartment, reworked as a café
Regulars have a name for the look at Spes Caffe: grandma's apartment. Old objects and mismatched furniture fill the room, on one of Çukurcuma's most photographed back streets, right in the antique quarter it belongs to.
The menu runs all day rather than for one sitting. Coffee, a breakfast selection, and a dessert case that changes daily keep the antique dealers and browsers around, and they tend to arrive mid-morning and stay put.

Amazing food with incredible flavors and outstanding service. Every dish was delicious, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. :)

Lovely, lovely, lovely place in one of the nicest streets in Çukurcuma. Coffee is delicious, service is excellent, and don’t skip the meringues!!

Great place for brunch. Food was tasty, service was quick and friendly. Even got to enjoy our brunch with some of the neighborhood cats.
