Turkey's self-declared first midnight market, on Sofyalı Sokak

Supermarket doesn't want to be filed under bar or restaurant. It calls itself Turkey's first midnight market, and food, cocktails and music all get equal billing on the bill of fare.

The drinks list leads the way, the music sets the pace, and the room is laid out more like a shop floor than a dining room. This is a late-night stop on Asmalımescit's strip, not an early one.
