Jinja's closest thing to a dedicated wine bar

Betimo sits on Busoga Avenue, one branch of a Ugandan wine and spirits company that has bottled and distributed since 2002. The Jinja site is bigger than a typical bottle shop. Eight separate bar and dining areas spread across the property, plus rooms for anyone who overdoes the tasting.

It's the closest thing Jinja has to a dedicated wine bar, though the list leans toward the company's own label rather than a deep international selection. Pick the grill section by the pool over the indoor bar when the weather holds.
