Jinja's newest cocktail bar, right across from the Indian Temple

Le Jouri opened on Bell Avenue in March 2026, across from the Indian Temple. It quickly became the place in Jinja for a proper night out. The owners also run the Allison Hotel down the road, and it shows: leather stools, a backlit bar, cocktails priced well above a plate at the food court next door.

Friday nights bring a guest DJ or a hosted party. Past guests include Kampala names like Sheilah Gashumba. Stick to the cocktails, the food menu is still thin. It gets loud after 9pm, so arrive by 7 if you actually want to talk to whoever you're with.
