Café by day, cocktail bar by night, on Spring Road
Bugolobi finally got its own sit-down spot. The Local fills a gap the neighbourhood had for years, since Kololo and Nakasero always had the better options for eating out. Breakfast here means hearty katogo, sandwiches, roasts and ribs, plus a rolex folded into a proper sit-down menu instead of a street stall.
After dark, the kitchen hands off to a cocktail-forward bar service. Come for breakfast, stay for the drinks, or just pick your half of the day.

Absolutely loved the ambiance at The Local. It was quiet, service was super fast and it wasn’t busy either. It’s suitable for work as well especially the upstairs seating. We had the chicken tacos and pulled pork sliders with fries. Hope to try out their breakfast really soon.

The local is very esthetically pleasing,the atmosphere is calm,the staff are very nice,helpful.I remember as I was being shown to my seat this later was so nice to me ,asking about my day , if I was comfortable with my seat,if I wanted to change.Then when it came to the menu honestly I wasn't expecting to find one where you just scan because I had no data but the wait staff scanned with their phone and I was able to order.The upper floor has a very beautiful sunset view and nice lighting for taking pictures. I had a milk shake and I loved it but the chicken was not that good ,the mash potatoes really cold.

Its a very beautiful place with an A at luxury setting and beautification. Good music, loud enough yet still have conversations Very clean, and elegant Its giving good vibes, They however need to improve on the quality of food served.

It's a grwat place aesthetically pleasing great ambience.The only hiccup is that the food takes awhile to arrive. But apart from that its a great Instagram worthy place with great food an great customer care
