Two floors of 90s and 00s vintage in North Laine
Menace deals in sportswear, leather jackets, denim and designer bags, all hung by size instead of dumped in bins for digging. It feels like a proper shop, not a rummage sale, and the prices reflect that.
The North Laine space on Sydney Street has room to spread out over two floors now. Menace also runs stalls at Brick Lane and Portobello Market in London if you want to catch them there instead.
Good to know
- Open every day, 11:30 to 18:00.
- The upstairs floor opened after the move, easy to miss from the street.

One of the best vintage shops in Brighton. Lovely pieces slightly high priced, but good quality. Bought a jacket which I wore immediately. The girl at the store sometimes doesn’t know all the pieces and is confused, but cute shop overall nonetheless

Popped in randomly! Found the cutest jacket and had the loviest chat with Chloe! She was so nice and friendly! Definitely recommend!
