Skip the chain coffee and duck into Drop Bear instead. It's Australian café culture dropped onto Howard Street: flat whites, all-day brunch and counter service quick enough to make the next lecture.

It's built for a fast turnover, but that's no knock on the coffee. This stretch of campus had nothing like it before, and it fills the gap properly.

I had a very nice coffee here and wanted to say thank you to the barista that gave me some nice advice on places in Sheffield to head to for my date. It went very well :)

The staff are so friendly. The place is spacious. Had an iced latte, average. Wish they had menus available online. They also have a student discount.

Walked past this coffee shop and I got so excited to find out that this is an Australian coffee shop! Having lived in Melbourne for many years, can't say that I don't miss it. I ordered a Mont Blanc and finished it within 2 minutes. Will definitely visit again when I'm in Sheffield.
