Fresh speciality coffee near Hunters Bar
Sharrow Vale Road already runs deep on independent cafés, but this one claims the top end near Hunters Bar, a short walk from the older cluster near the Recreation Ground. Speciality coffee is the focus.
It sits within a few hundred metres of Porter, No3 Sharrow and Made by Jonty, so you've got options if a table's taken. Worth the detour up the hill.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sharrow Vale Road is such a lovely place for a walk, especially on a sunny day. The street is full of fantastic independent shops, cafés and restaurants, with so much choice. From places like Eve’s Bakery to Pom Kitchen and so many others, it has such a vibrant atmosphere – it genuinely feels a bit like you’re strolling through a neighbourhood in London or enjoying a relaxed summer day abroad. We stopped at Rasa for a coffee break and were so glad we did. We had a flat white and the white chocolate & strawberry iced matcha special. Both were absolutely delicious. The flat white was smooth, rich and expertly made, and the matcha special was refreshing, perfectly balanced and a real treat. A lovely café with great drinks and a welcoming atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back, not only to visit Rasa again but to continue exploring all the brilliant independent businesses that make Sharrow Vale Road such a special place.

Super cute cafe. Good selection of drinks on the menu. The white strawberry matcha was insanely good! Was made better by the great service by the two ladies, was very accomodation and sweet when discussing the menu options. Will visit again!

Sharrowvale’s new favourite spot 🫶🏻☕️ The vibes? Welcoming. The staff? SO lovely. The matcha? MATCHA APPROVED 🍵✔️ So many choices such as Banana 🍌 Ube 💜 Cherry 🍒 Lavender, Tiramisu etc all 10/10 …and the Ube matcha Icecream Latte is a MUST 💟

I ordered a latte and a matcha, both excellent. Smooth latte and fresh matcha. No extra charge for oat milk, which is a big plus. They also offer a free stamp reward card for loyal customers.
