Loxley Brewery's third micropub, first on Sharrow Vale Road
Real ale is the whole point here. A solid wood bar runs three Loxley cask ales alongside seven keg lines, no lager taps trying to compete for attention.
It's the brewery's third small-format pub and the first dedicated micropub on a stretch of Sharrow Vale Road that's gotten genuinely trendy. The name just marks its place in the Loxley lineup, nothing fancier than that.

It's a relatively new addition to the places to drink in Sharrow Vale. It has now sorted it's heating/coldness problem by installing an air conditioner. They have a nice selection of beers at reasonable prices. Staff are very pleasant.

Nice little bar, part of the Loxley brewery collection of bars and pubs (number three I believe!), the others being The Raven at walkley and the Wisewood inn at Loxley. A nice selection of their own brewed beers including a nice Stout and a few others including wine. It's a fairly small place but quite a bit of seating, including some fairly weighty tall stools!
