Jolene Jolene

The sports bar that actually shows women's games

Every screen here is tuned to WNBA, NWSL and college women's basketball, not benched behind the men's leagues like at most sports bars. That alone makes Jolene Jolene worth the trip if you're tired of asking a bartender to flip the channel.

It landed on Hosea L Williams Drive in Kirkwood in spring 2026, joining the wine bar Finally, Wine. and cafe Babygirl on the same short strip. Good excuse to make a day of it.

I wanted this place to work so bad because we need it. Unfortunately it seems to be just another “it’s my friend’s spot”. Service is by far the slowest. I’ve been here three times now to make sure I don’t offer my opinion from one visit blues. Each time our drinks took longer and longer to get to us. Not to mention it took even longer to be acknowledged by your own server or bartender. Bartenders spend more time taking their own shots and talking to their own friends crossing the bar than their patrons. They’re just there to have fun. Menu options are few. Those few choices are nothing exciting. As a patron just looking for a comfortable place to enjoy the games, my advice is to spruce up the customer service piece. I’ll be on the sidelines cheering you on. 👌

My wife and I had a wonderful time at Jolene Jolene this evening. We went with a friend who is not a huge women's sports fan, but were able to watch the Atlanta Dream and World Cup match together. Because it was so full and fun, we sat with a couple folks who had empty room at their table and invited us to join them. Everybody was so kind and inclusive. Emma was our server and did a great job with a crowded area. There were good deals to be had on the menu. Wings and fries hit the spot. They had a "Mystery beer and shot for $6" served in a brown paper bag that was an excellent touch. Overall, I would highly recommend and we will be returning frequently!

We have been to Jolene Jolene several times since opening and each experience has been equally enjoyable! The food is great, love the selection of drinks, and the staff is what makes the experience 1000/10. We were there to watch the US World Cup game and were served by Ryan B, he was INCREDIBLE!!! We loved getting red carded! Seriously we could not stop raving about his service and how personable he was. We left the night feeling on top of the world. Thank you for making us feel so welcomed!!

Amber our bartender guided us through a wonderful experience. She had great recommendations, professional, friendly, personable and made us feel like family. The pao pao shrimp is a standout. Enjoy a great neighborhood vibe with friends.

Our family was very excited for this place to open. Great concept in a space we were really hoping to find something great return to. Unfortunately we did not have a very good experience. Service was fine and atmosphere was good, but food disappointed. First, there are way fewer vegetarian options than you see on other google reviews, just a beyond burger and that’s it (which was less than lukewarm when received). As the only vegetarian in the family, I was prepared to be disappointed but hopeful for the rest of the family. Unfortunately I was wrong. My wife had a single patty burger that was warming but essentially cooked whatever 5 stages past well done is. One of my kids got the sloppy Joe sliders, which makes elementary school sloppy joes look gourmet (they were dry, cold, and had some cheese like substance that wasn’t appetizing). My youngest’s grilled cheese and fries was pretty good, but alas it wasn’t enough to feed a family of 4. I’ll come back and hope to just chalk this up to growing pains, but hopefully they get the kinks worked out otherwise it just be drinks here going forward
