La Vi started serving from a truck on East 5th in February 2026, built around Vietnamese phin coffee brewed the slow way rather than pulled through a machine.
There is a salted caramel Vietnamese latte for people who want it sweeter, matcha drinks, and egg coffee made with whipped egg cream. The egg coffee is the one to try if you have never had it.

This coffee truck really lived up to the hype!! I got the Salted caramel latte and it was 10/10. It definitely was sweeter but had a strong coffee taste! We also got the banana cream matcha. I’m not the biggest fan of matcha but it was yummy. Super sweet and less of the grass taste. (Which I liked) The service was amazing! The line wasn’t too long when I got there but they were pretty quick getting the drinks out. And there’s a cute picnic area you can wait at. Definitely a must try if you are in the area!!

The egg coffee was so good, smooth, rich and delicious. Waited in line for about 15 mins but it was totally worth it. Staff were super welcoming too. A must try coffee spot!

Very nice staff. Cool little spot to be outside. Has water and shades. A few other food trucks there as well but did not partake.

Stopped by LA Vietnamese Coffee and it was such a great little find. The drinks were delicious and beautifully made the matcha was smooth, rich, and refreshing, and the iced coffee was a little too sweet for me but had bold flavor. The whole setup has such a cool atmosphere with the bright red coffee truck and outdoor seating vibe. Service was friendly and quick, and everything felt fresh and high quality. Definitely a spot we would come back to while in Austin!

I don’t play when it comes to Viet coffee and this HITS👏 Austin needed this truck badddd!! Everything I’ve had on their menu is valid. Workers are also so nice🥹
