The bar half of the Arts Bank tea salon

Yunomi opened alongside Han Cha on June 5, 2026, inside the Stony Island Arts Bank, named for the handleless cup used for everyday tea in Japanese ceramics. The entire cocktail program is built around that one object.

Drinks arrive in ceramics made in Theaster Gates's studio, in a ground-floor room hung with pieces from his collection. Visit it as the drinking half of a tea-salon evening or on its own, which gives the Arts Bank a reason to stay open past dark on the South Side.
