Upside opened in June 2026 just off North Miami Avenue, 8,500 square feet spread over two floors, three bars and a covered outdoor stretch. That's a serious footprint by Wynwood standards. The kitchen sends out tapas-sized plates (lobster nuggets got most of the early attention), and DJs work the room instead of a stage.
It sits somewhere between restaurant and nightclub without fully committing to either, which is the format Wynwood has been drifting toward for years. Come early for a drink at the bar, or late, when it stops pretending to be a restaurant.

Upside is an absolute vibe. We live in edgewater so we frequently hit the Wynwood area, and it’s been missing a solid cocktail spot that also turns into a fun place to stay out and dance late. Upside is exactly that. The food is fire, servers and bartenders are so great, and the place just brings what the neighborhoods been missing. Also love that they have sports on so we can still catch the games going on while we’re out somewhere that’s actually fun. Highly recommend

This place is new but seems like it has potential to be a really nice laid back place. My friend and I were a couple doors down and stopped in on our way back to our car. My friend had seen it a couple weeks ago and was curious. The building is gorgeous, the staff is welcoming, and the decor is beautiful. The menu is good and the drink section is also pretty good. I forgot what it was I tried, but it was made very well. I think it was called picky poison? If you’re into sports, they have a decent amount of screens and two full-size bar or so you’re able to get a drink either inside or outside on the patio. I already shared the venue with friends and my friend and I plan to come back when we can try the food and experience more than the vibe later on in the evening. Oh, and the street they’re on is really cute. It’s a different feel Wynwood, I like it a lot.

Upside is great! The food is super soo good, with bold flavors and affordable! If you like to take aesthetic photos on instagram the atmosphere is great for that, with a lot of perfect spots for photos. Great atmosphere, creative cocktails, and an overall vibe that’s deserves the hype. Can’t wait to come back!

What a vibe! A mash up of an upscale sports bar and fun night out. Staff was friendly and eager to serve. Food was yummy (recommend the fish dip) and our “main character energy” mezcal cocktails were top notch. Already looking for an excuse to go back.

My favorite new barn restaurant in Wynwood. The food was freaking amazing beautiful venue in the back and great atmosphere.
