Steak and whiskey under a bank's marble ceiling
The vault details are still there, and so are the soaring windows. Stock & Bond turned the old Farmers and Mechanics Savings Bank into a steakhouse where heritage cuts get served under a ceiling built for a very different kind of business.
The whiskey list runs deep and the room has the scale to match, all marble columns and bank-hall grandeur. It's already the pick for client dinners and pre-theater meals downtown.

Really enjoyed our dinner here. I thought it was kind of weird it was so close to Murray’s Steakhouse but it’s pretty different from Murray’s. Definitely a more modern upscale steakhouse with a huge whisky selection and craft cocktails. Versus Murray’s is more of that traditional old school steakhouse. Overall I thought the food and drinks were very good. Definitely worth a visit!

Amazing service! Tricks (or trix) our waiter was amazing! Very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, he gave great recommendations and certainly knew what he was talking about! The place is pretty expensive but well worth it! 10 oz filet was more then enough portion wise and incredibly seasoned and tender! The whipped potatoes were amazing as well, and the cake was so huge and delicious! Not from here, but if we were we’d definitely come back given the food and quality of service was amazing!!

Visited a couple weeks ago. Great food. People and servers were nice. Came for lunch, and had a good lunch selection. Gorgeous and clean place. Food was slightly slow to come out, but other than that g great place to check out if you’re in downtown.

Absolute perfection from start to finish! 5/5, no notes. We had an incredible dining experience here. The food, ambiance, and service were all flawless. For the meal, the porterhouse was next level—it had a perfect sear, and the truffle butter was amazing. The seafood was just as impressive; the oysters, crab cakes, and shrimp were all incredibly fresh and on another level. Rounding out the mains, the whipped potatoes were phenomenal. We finished with the key lime pie, which was divine, and the cocktails throughout the night were excellent. The ambiance set the perfect mood, but what really made the night was the impeccable service. Our server, David, was attentive, helpful, and completely on point. If you want a flawless meal, this is the spot.

Service and ambience are great for date night or special occasion. The menu is somewhat limited to mostly steaks for entrees with a few other options, but they have a pretty good appetizer menu. We opted for drinks and appetizers. The drinks here are really good, the Mai Tai comes in a cute cup that stays cold but is pretty small. The appetizers were all very tasty. The truffle fries are a large portion for a side, the steak tartare has lots of flavor and the crispy rice with salmon is delicious although a small portion for the price. Overall a nice night out.
