Wine still runs the show here, but the kitchen is the reason to linger. Small plates handle the savoury side with more ambition than a wine bar usually bothers with.

What sets Bar à Part apart is the pastry work. It swings sweet and savoury both, on a Bedford Street stretch where dessert is normally an afterthought or a wedge of cheese.
