Fifth Square is easily one of my favorite cafés. The atmosphere is so cozy and aesthetic, making it the perfect place to catch up with friends or just relax for a while. My favorite drink is the pistachio matcha latte. It’s so smooth, creamy, and perfectly balanced with the nutty pistachio flavor. Their waffles are just as amazing, especially the Mango Craze, Bueno Puffs, and Kunafa. Every single one is fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. What makes this place even more special is the owners. They always go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome, and you can truly tell they care about their customers. Amazing food, amazing drinks, and even better people. I can’t recommend Fifth Square enough!

I had the pistachio matcha latte and salted caramel latte and both were so delicious! The owners were incredibly helpful in helping me pick items from the menu and followed up with my party to see if we liked the quality of our drinks. Definitely an east village fav

I visited Fifth Square and had a mixed experience. First, the highlight of my visit was definitely the Tiramisu Latte. I ordered it with oat milk, and it was excellent. The oat milk made the drink extra creamy while balancing the coffee and tiramisu flavors perfectly. It was smooth, rich, and easily the best part of my order. I also tried the Mango Craze waffle on a stick. Don’t get me wrong—the waffle itself was tasty. It was fresh, soft, and paired nicely with the mango topping and drizzle. The quality of the waffle was good, and the flavors worked well together. However, my biggest issue is the portion size. At $9.50, I expected something a bit more substantial. The waffle was surprisingly small—almost like a half-size serving—and what made it even more noticeable was that the box it came in looked bigger than the actual waffle. While the taste was good, the portion-to-price ratio left me feeling a little disappointed. The café itself has a cozy atmosphere and the staff were pleasant during my visit. I would definitely come back for the Tiramisu Latte, but I hope they either increase the waffle portion size or adjust the pricing to better match what customers receive. Overall, a nice spot for coffee, but the waffles could offer better value for the money.
