Rockwell and Rose opened on Walnut Street just off Washington Square in October 2025, and it does the full steakhouse routine: around six cuts, a raw bar, and a wine and cocktail list built for long dinners.

The sauces are where it gets interesting, from cognac cream to a root beer beef jus. Order one on the side even if you're a salt-and-pepper purist.

Beautiful atmosphere, very well decorated. The steak was delicious and cooked perfectly. I sat at the bar and Chris was my bartender. Great server and conversation. Highly recommended!

Amazing service and food. Great Spot! Filet was cooked perfectly, and the Lobster Mac and Cheese was fantastic! My Server Matt was most knowledgeable about both the menu options and the city too helping me with directions back to my Hotel as well. All staff went above and beyond. Hope to Travel Back soon!

I would give this place more than 5 stars if I could - one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had in the city. From the service to the food to the ambiance, everything was excellent. I ordered the salmon and it was absolutely delicious and great quality fish. Our server was so attentive and the space is beautiful. I can’t wait to come back!

Celebrated our first Valentine’s Day married here tonight & we really enjoyed the food and the ambience ! Our server Ian was SO nice and beyond accommodating! He truly made our experience. I do wish the filet came with a sauce like the lamb did, but both dishes were really good. We will definitely be back!
