Piccolina

Italian inside the Society Hill Hotel, dinner only for now.
Piccolina opened inside the Society Hill Hotel on Chestnut Street in March 2026, doing fluke crudo, oysters and other small plates alongside pasta, pizza and pork milanese.
Dinner only when it opened, with brunch and lunch planned to follow. Worth checking the hours before making it a daytime plan. The Infatuation visited and wrote it up.

Amazing Italian place! Caesar salad, pizzas, and pastas were all top-notch. The host was very friendly, charismatic and cheerful which elevated the experience. I hope to come back at some point and would definitely take friends here again.

Do yourself a favor and get to this restaurant immediately. Every other restaurant in this little old city area is a cannot compare. the service the ambience, the aesthetic, absolutely beautiful it’s calming and and upbeat at the same time. Food perfect. Wide selection of alcohol. Carolina recommended the Engine Italian Gin!!! Delicious. Fisher recommended the mafaldine. Wow. And Dan was just cool, and so helpful. 6 stars.

This is a great dinner spot! I got the spiced carrots, pea pasta, & chocolate cake! I highly recommend getting one of their mocktails! They are very delicious

We had the most perfect meal! Everything we ate was delicious and we had a visit from the executive chef Cara who couldn’t have been any more lovely. We had the meatballs, crudo, carrots (do not miss these!!), 3 pastas (do not miss the lemon with anchovy bread crumbs), and mushroom pizza. The bread brought to the table was to die for! I wish I have eaten more, so I will just have to come back!

One of the best tiny experiences I’ve had. Food, ambience, and service were unbelievable. It is very quaint and intimate inside, but does not feel cramped. Our server was on her game, but even further there were other members of the staff that would periodically check to ensure everything was going well. The food was fantastic. Complimentary bread is 10/10z We had the roasted carrots, Caesar salad, and two dishes of pasta that were all divine. The only thing I would say is the music was a little loud, but genuinely one of the best overall experiences in the city. One of the true 5/5 places.
