Mediterranean cooking in Volvér's old Kimmel Center room.
Leo took over Volvér's space inside the Kimmel Center in May 2025, named after a former conductor of the Philadelphia Orchestra. Mediterranean menu, and a room built for people with a curtain time.
The $45 pre-theater tasting menu is the sensible order if you're seeing something. With more than ninety minutes to spare, go à la carte for the roasted shrimp, ricotta dumplings and roasted pork shoulder.

My husband and I tried this place for the first time and it was outstanding. The service was great, our server was supper attentive and friendly; the atmosphere was perfect, comfortable light, decor and level of music; and the food was fantastic: the shrimp appetizer was abundant, reminded me of tom yum soup, but elevated. The roasted duck was very good as well as the lamb ragu, but the carrot cake dessert was just outstanding, the best ai have tried. Definitely would come back!

Way beyond my expectations!!! Really good location and atmosphere. The servers are really friendly. The whole wall floor-to-ceiling windows is really exquisite. What’s even better is the food itself. The shrimp and tuna are Michelin-like flavor. Really suitable for dating or business or family reunion or just want to have a nice dinner with BFFs~

We went to LEO for the Valentine’s Day prix fixe menu. The appetizers were really good and definitely the highlight of the meal. The main dishes were just okay and the dessert wasn’t our favorite. Since it was a special menu, I’d be open to coming back on a regular night.

The food is truly exceptional — the selection of ingredients is both unique and absolutely delicious! I tried the tomato dish, which was amazing, but the salted beet quickly became my favorite. I’m no stranger to fine dining, but this experience completely blew my mind. The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere felt sleek and elegant. Highly recommend!
