Robatayaki small plates or a $150 sushi omakase on Locust.
Kissho House opened on Locust Street in June 2025 and works at two speeds. Sit casually for robatayaki and small plates, or book the sushi omakase at $150 a head.
The cocktail list means you don't have to default to sake with the salmon nigiri, though the sake list is good. The mini chirashi is the best value order on the casual side.

Sadly missed out on the window for the omakase, but now I'll know for next time. This is my first time here, wandering in after booking a reservation on a whim and seeing the amazing and mouth-watering sushi and food. May was our server, and her, along with the other staff who helped us, were so very friendly. May was very knowledgeable of the menu, and very attentive and prompt with service as well. The food we ordered was absolutely fantastic. Everything was so fresh and stunning. Though not a convenient ride, I hope we can visit again one day.

Very delightful experience. Amazing staff, beautiful atmosphere, thoughtfully created dishes. The chu toro with yuzukosho was phenomenal, the Kanpachi also delicious, and the agedashi tofu was some of the best I’ve had. Minus one star because the sushi set we tried had delicious toppings, but the fish itself was a little bland, not sure why because it was very fresh. Next time I would opt to try more of the chef created dishes rather than the sushi set.

Update 2(06-21-26): Amazing food as always! I keep coming back whenever I crave raw fish and their Sashimi 15 just keeps hitting! Their charcoal skewers too! I love the seasoning they put on the mushroom. Atmosphere at the bar was peaceful and service was incredible and friendly as always. Update: Came back to try their Omakase with my dad in their newly renovated room! From start to finish each course tasted so unique and had their own flavors and textures to it. The appetizers really lead you into the main courses with how good it is! I definitely didn’t even realize that we were almost at the end of all the courses when the time came. The flavors of each course is never too overpowering. I really liked the seared yellowtail and the black cod for the appetizers. For the sushi courses, I loved the scallop, fatty tuna, uni and oyster, and the eel. Definitely going to recommend everyone to try out the Omakase! Service was also very friendly and nice. Can’t wait to come back again, this time with my friends! Came here with my mom, aunt, and grandmother. We came down from the suburbs and had a wonderful time here after shopping all over the area! Food was absolutely amazing and the fish just melts in your mouth. The rolls are also very filling and delicious! The salad dressing is amazing too and the wagyu is very tender and juicy. Service is very friendly and considerate. The interior is also very stylish.

Incredible sashimi assortment. Great quality fish. We also loved the wasabi trio that went along with it. Highly recommended the artisan sashimi platter. Drinks were great as well!

Beautiful spot, food was delicious and beautifully presented. We had the grilled mackerel, sashimi, cauliflower, and yakitori. One of the better spots for Japanese in the area. Service was very polite and attentive, without being too doting. Would come again.
