I swore I punched this review in some weeks ago. That's on me. Worth a visit. Located in the Kensington/Fishtown area of Philadelphia, this spot is sure to blow you away. With a great selection of food, drinks, and even anime in the background, you are guaranteed to enjoy your visit. The decor stands out, too (the hanging 2x4s depict drying noodles. Love it). Staff was attentive, professional, and courteous, too.

We had a wonderful dinner and service was great! Our server Maggie was extra attentive and super fun. All of the munchies are half off during happy hour too!

Our server was attentive and the aesthetic of the restaurant is nice. Although the host seemed almost hesitant to sit us? Which we were confused by. Food was honestly all around meh - the pho was the best thing we ordered. However, I would recommend that they cook the bone marrow more instead of just scorching it as ours came back really pink. Everything else felt kind of flat and basic. The menu options are fun though! It’s cute to come here for a drink id say or maybe some appetizers but I wouldn’t come back for dinner honestly.

First time here last night and needed a post-op meal to replenish - and the spicy beef ramen definitely did the job! I loved the warm ambience, and the dishware made a really nice presentation for the super yummy food. The beef was very tender, the broth was very savory and had just the right kick of spice to be enjoyable. Not many places authentically have the marinated boiled egg, so I was very pleased that was included and that was delicious, too. We shared the soft shell crab yuzu bao buns as our waiter recommended - perfect choice, they were spectacular - just big enough to calm our growling appetite but not too overwhelming so we could enjoy our full bowls of ramen after. Finished the broth to the last drop. Also, couldn't help but scan the "Do not scan this" QR code card at the table, and was pleasantly surprised and impressed by Mecha's charitable "Eat Justice" support of several non-profits with amazing causes. That also was a huge bonus for me when enjoying the ramen because they're causes I can happily stand with. I'd love to come back and explore the rest of the menu!!!

Mecha Noodle Bar is a welcome new addition to my "ramen spots to frequent" list. The shoyu was phenomenal and the curry was exactly how I like it. I will definitely be coming back to try more of that menu! And a proper thank you to our server, Eleanor, for being an absolute joy and taking such good care of our large party.
