A 1,200-square-foot vinyl haunt near Indian School and 7th

Crate-diggers, this is your new weekly stop. The Record Gallery packs 1,200 square feet near Indian School Road and 7th Street with vinyl to browse and space to actually listen, not just skim racks and leave.

Stock turns over fast enough that regulars swing by weekly instead of monthly. It doubles as a hangout for Phoenix's small but loyal collector scene, so budget more than a quick pass through.

Best record store I’ve ever been to. They were super welcoming and were spinning the coolest 45s. I immediately found Venom Mob dvd’s missing from my collection, and the vinyl selection was varied and well curated. I could’ve spent all day there for sure. Next time.

Clean store. Great prices. Will return in the future and recommend to others.

Have good reggae selection, have rare oddities if you looking. Coppd an Ethiopian jazz album, been eyeing that SPARTA album on the wall.

The Record Gallery is one of the most exciting record stores I’ve been to in Phoenix. The place is full of surprises, from rare vintage vinyl to incredible art, clothing, and music culture everywhere you look. The best part of my visit was talking with Damian, the owner and one of the featured artists in the shop. His knowledge stretches across entire timelines of music history, and you can tell he genuinely loves sharing that passion with people. I couldn’t contain my excitement when I found a 12-inch copy of “Electric Avenue” by Eddy Grant — a record I’ve loved since I was buying vinyl back in fifth grade. Dj's this is the spot! Go there and dig! The fusion of world music and hard to fine records has me ready to go back! I also picked up a Homegrown T-shirt to support my friends in the ILLPHONIX Collective which made the experience even more special. If you love music, vinyl, local culture, and discovering hidden gems, The Record Gallery is absolutely worth a visit!
