A 22-year-old Otay Mesa deli's third location

The Mexican-American deli hybrid is the whole idea, and it has been working since long before East Village noticed. Tortas before a Padres game, and the queue moves.

Martha and Omar Vega opened their first Vega Caffe in Otay Mesa 22 years ago and a second in Eastlake sixteen years ago. This one opened in March 2024 at 202 Park Boulevard, in the old Lolita's space across from Petco Park.
