I was passing by Joe and Vera's and got to chatting with Shorty, who was out front. I popped in for a Sunday afternoon beverage and immediately knew I had stopped at the right place. Josh and Taylor were behind the bar, expertly mixing cocktails and making friends with everyone who walked in. The vibe is cozy with a great balance of modern and vintage styles, featuring a nice-sized bar and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating options. Though I didn't eat because I had just come from brunch, the menu includes a raw bar and finger foods. Next time, I'll definitely be trying a few bites! They have a full bar with all the classics, alongside some unique signature drinks specific to Joe and Vera's. I had the Espresso Martini Affogato, and it was hands-down the best I've had outside of Providence's Federal Hill. These folks really know how to craft a proper drink. Their motto is "A nice place to have a drink," and they are not wrong. This was my first visit, but it definitely won't be my last! 🍸✨

Truly a delightful cocktail bar— recommend for a pre-dinner cocktail and appetizers! We had amazing service from Savannah, the bartender who took care of us and made some creative, delicious off-menu beverages for our birthday celebration. The vibes were funky and fun with live jazz music in the corner and full tables in the small, cozy space. If you can a seat by the window, it’s a perfect combo!

Sometimes when you read a menu you say: "They get it". Well they definitely do here. What I wasn't expecting was a happy hour in the afternoon on Sunday. How awesome is that?! Firstly, I have a problem calling this gentleman by the name on his tag, but there was something so inviting and captivating about him. "Shorty" was quick to make you feel welcome, at home honestly, and proud to show off what was available. It's the kind of touch I don't often see in hospitality any longer. During our stay he was assisting with service, was outside bringing unassuming guests in for their first time, and just generally infecting the whole space happiness. The drinks, while well conceived on paper were above average. I felt like the menu read cocktail bar but delivered a work in progress. The food and a couple happy hour discounted items like the cheese board and eggplant were a delight. The foie was a must order. Perfect texture, flavor, temperature. Worth a trip. Overall 5s across the board. Will be back soon

Was driving through Savannah for one night, and dipped into Joe and Vera’s to escape the downpour of rain. Super cute aesthetic. Could tell that the bartenders took pride in making each cocktail. Also overheard them say that they work on trying to create new mocktails as well. The Migonette martini my husband ordered was fabulous!

I had a private event there yesterday, and it was perfect! The food was amazing, the service was incredible, and the hostesses were extremely kind and welcoming. The space is beautiful and was the perfect setting for our event. Glen gave me the best experience. She understood the vibe we were going for and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Her attention to detail and dedication made the event truly special. I would highly recommend this place to everyone!
