A working coffee farm with a table for lunch, above Alto Prado

Order a cortado and someone from the family will walk you from the drying racks to the hand roaster before your cup shows up. Terranova sits just below the Entrada al Caucho landmark, a short walk from Centro Comercial Alto Prado, on a plot that doubles as a small coffee operation.

The food stays simple on purpose: burgers, sandwiches, a short dessert list built around whatever's in the kitchen that week. Ask for a table on the deck if the weather's holding. The view down toward the city is the other reason this place filled up fast.
