Peru meets Venezuela on a plate in Ejido

Mixed ceviche and a trio of causas share the table with shrimp chowder, and the Venezuelan side of the kitchen sneaks in through the sides and sauces rather than its own menu section. It's the only spot near Mérida doing real Peruvian-Venezuelan fusion.

Find it on the second floor of the Campo Alegre shopping center in Ejido, next to the fire station. The crowd leans Peruvian expat, plus locals willing to make the short drive down Av. Centenario from Mérida proper.
