No ad campaign built this one, just people telling other people about the steaks. Bonne Vie sits on Điện Biên Phủ street in Hong Bang, running imported cuts through a European-Vietnamese menu with a wine list that actually matches the food.

It's one of the few Hai Phong restaurants that turns up on "best of" lists for both locals and the small expat community. The kitchen doesn't cut corners, and that's the whole draw.
