Ask anyone in Hai Phong where to eat vegetarian and this is the name they say first. Tuổi Ngọc Chay runs a buffet on Tô Hiệu street, one of the best-known spots in the city's vegetarian scene.

The buffet format makes it easy for groups with mixed diets to just pick a table and load up. It's since expanded into a separate "Heritage" concept elsewhere in the city.
